Ashton Heights' planners were determined to preserve areas of natural bushland to attract bird life and ensure breathing space.

A magnificent lake surrounded by superb landscaped parklands was included to provide families with a welcoming meeting place. The lake itself was created from severely degraded natural bush wetlands that were carefully rehabilitated and landscaped.

Each of the various garden landscape options made available to Ashton Heights' residents is a water-wise initiative which means the addition of drip-feed irrigation and other recognised methods of optimising garden water use.

Ashton Heights Private Estate has been designed in accordance with GreenSmart sustainability principles.
